Excavation continued on the 5 metre strip begun on the previous day.  A fragment of cornice was found (K 32).  This strip was taken down down and immediately to the east a new strip 4 1/2 metres broad (33-37) was begun.  A piece of bronze circa 0.035 metres long was (approx. P34) ( )

T6D

The walls in the trench were cleaned.  The second layer was taken off from the strip.  S of the S wall (grid M-V, 9-15).  This produced dirt mixed with a great number of small stones.  The depth from ground level is ca 10 cm.  1 box of tiles was dumped.  in order to define the width of the N wwall the trench will be extended to the N.  The area lies between T6D (south), T7
