Stratigraphic Summary

The stratigraphic record for CB 30 can be divided into 4 distinct levels.

1. Humus Layer  ~0-5cm

The soil in this layer is dark brown and heavily organic. No finds are associated with this layer.

2. Olive color layer  ~5-30cm

The soil in this layer can best be described as olive in color. There is also less organic material. Material collected for this level includes 11 pottery pieces.

3. Medium brown  ~30-50cm

The medium brown soil in this layer contained 1.5 latte boxes of pottery.

4. Galestra ~50-70cm

The galestra is sterile soil. No finds or material are associated with this layer.
