Introduction

The area to be excavated, designated as T19, "northern extension," lies to the north of the north wall of the monumental building complex.  The area was first excavated in 1972 by Jennifer Neils JN I .  The adjacent area, T 18 "northern extension" and T 19, I 31-35 were also excavated in 1975 ( GWIII) .

Still visible are the Foundation walls of two rooms, one in T 18 and one in T 19.  The room in T 18 has been completely excavated and its walls delineated (GWIII) .  The room in T 19 is only partially excavated.

The grid system used by J. Neils will be adopted herein.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
