This morning we began work in the trench by first trimming the north, west and south baulk walls of Locus 17, in preparation for closing photographs and to clearly demonstrate the stratigraphy of the trench.  The tile fall and rock feature of Locus 14 was defined and the floor of Locus 17was leveled.

In preparation of the closing of SF-4, closing elevations of the remaining open loci were taken.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
