Work continued in cut 5 (T-19). In grids E/34-35, a heavy concentration of stone was encountered or left in situ. This stone concentration continues in C-D/34-35 and might reach as far as the foundation wall of the upper building (A/34-35).

The stone packing (A-D/34-35), which as it turned out did continue as far as the upper building foundation wall, was removed. The concentration of rock was quite heavy and some of the stones were quite large.
