Q-R/56 at the 80 cm level produced large quantities of architectural tiles and large stones. These were kept in place.
Work was concentrated today in grids M-P/54-56, which were brought down to the 40 cm mark. Many small stones were found in this cut until roughly grid M, where the earth becomes dark brown and very loose-packed ( see MW I, p. 43 ). This soil did contain small amounts of tile and plaster. The area as a whole produces 1 full cassetta of plaster, much of it with reed impressions. One cassetta of tile was filled also. Nothing of "find" quality was discovered.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
