June 28, 1988
The area between the southern flank of T-26 below the unfired cover tiles and the T-27 test trench from 1985 was cleared of rocks and brush. The grid system adopted for T-27 in 1985 (see pp. 18-19 for a complete explanation) was then re-established down the slope of the hill. A topsoil cut was taken on meters C/D-68-70 to a depth of ca. 10cm. The soil in the cut was dark brown in color and contained a large number of roots and small rocks. One quarter of cassetta of worn tile and a few pieces of coarse pottery were discovered.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
