Metal Summary


No bronze was discovered during the excavation of CA 33 in 1991.


A single piece of iron was discovered in meter H/13 at a depth of ca. 78cm (see J. Berkin Book V p.198, #1). The piece was found in the lower forno.


Only two pieces of slag were recovered during the excavation of CA 33 in 1991. Both pieces were found in meter J/12 during the clearing of the baulk between meters I-J/11-13.
