Total: 6 stones

Very few lithic artifacts were found in CB-38 in 2010 and 2011. In 2010, the only lithic artifact found was a piece of worked chert that preserved percussion marks ( 20100037

20100037
). In 2011, 5 river stones or river stone fragments were recovered but none were cataloged. Only the piece of worked chert found in 2010 (recovered from Locus 2 ) and the fragment found in Locus 5 come from contextually secure strata; the other 4 stones all come from topsoil or baulk trim.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
