Work resumed after rain on Wednesday and two full days of letting the site dry on Friday and Saturday. Even so the bottom of the trench was still not completely dry.
Removal of Trench T-6b backfill continued with pick and shovel, commencing at a depth of 92 cm.
The soil became progressively more moist at a greater depth. The stone inclusions of cobble-sized (i.e. the size of a fist) and sometimes larger increased by quite a bit. Small chunks of carbon were also in this layer. Gradually, too, the soil changed from a medium brown to something more gray and mottled and also more clayey.
Closing depth 125cm

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
