Work was concentrated in the areas G-A 1-5. This section alone produced in the third layer 16 boxes of tiles. The greatest concentration appeared in grid E1-2 where several pieces of horserace frieze were excavated to gether with large pieces of tiles and fragments of the lateral sima, among the latter one complete rosette.

Grids A-B-C 1-5 were taken down to the level of the adjoining trench, T1AF. Few tiles and 2-3 pieces of plaster were found in this part. When work was resumed in the S part the stones mentioned above (p. 21) were cleared. About 2 boxes of tiles were dumped from this part. A bronze nail
