The cut in D/68-70 was taken to a depth of ca. 65cm. The soil in the cut was dark brown in color and cotnained a large amount of rocks and small rotts. One half a cassetta of worn pieces of tile were found in the cut.
The trench was then extended south into meters E-F/68-70 where a topsoil cut was taken to a depth of ca. 20cm. The soil here was dark brown in color and contained many small rocks and roots. Three-quarters of a cassetta of heavily worn pieces of tile were found in the cut.
A second cut was taken in E-F/68-70 to a depth of ca. 35cm. The soil was dark brown in colo and contained a large amount of roots and small rocks. One cassetta of worn tile and few fragments of coarse pottery were discovered in the cut.
