Work began with cleaning the stone formation in the south baulk for photographs. General and detailed shots were taken and then the feature was sketched (see p. 77).
Afterwards picking and shovelling continued in order to bring the level of H-I/ 20-22 down to that of H-I/ 23-24. This was not quite finished at the end of the day. This layer produced distinctly more tile and pottery thatn the layer above it. There was also more carbon in this layer.
Pottery= 1/2 liter box
tile= 3/4 cassette
pottery from stone cleaning= 2 sherds

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
