AM

Work began with pickpasses in the two northernmost meters of locus 2 and digging with handpicks and trowels in the rest of the locus. The stonecapping in the southern part of the locus was defined and the baulk walls were cleaned up. There were a fair amount of terracotta found (more than one bowl) and all of it seems to be ancient).

PM

The stone feature in the southern part of locus 2 was declared locus 3 and was stringed off.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
