Daily Log 2/8/10
Began a pick pass in the northern meter of the trench. Here the medium brown soil of locus 2 is still present. Soil was sorted into buckets and dumped. Fragments of tile and pottery were found, as well as bone. The soil is very soft and darker than last week this could be a result of the recent rain. We will continue to monitor this. A piece of coil made handle (S.F. #1), vitrified terracotta (S.F. #2) and incised rim (S.F. #3) were found.
