In preparation for declaring a new locus baulk walls were improved. The trench was scraped north to south in order to remove the baked surface to take photos. In this cleaning pottery, bone, and bronze flakes were found. A small amount of vitrified terracotta was recovered, and a piece of bronze slag (Special Find #1).

Photos were taken and Locus 7 declared. Locus 7 is a compacted mottled soil with multiple inclusions of red, brown, and yellow. The soil remains a mixture of clay and soil.

It appears that the layer is following the slope which is apparent in T-45. A pickpass was done in the southernmost meterworking south to north. The soil in the southern half of the third meter was a reddish soil which when picked over revealed a large portion of soil included with large amounts of carbon. A fragment of a rosette (Special Find #2) was found in the northern extent of the southern meter.

A second pickpass as completed moving north from the end of the previous pickpass to the northern extent of Locus 7 . A small bronze fragment (Special Find #6) and a pan tile with a possible sigla (Special Find #5) were recovered. Soil was spoiled using hands and trowels.

The trench was leveled using handpicks and trowels within Locus 7 . A piece of grooved bucchero (Special Find #7) was found in the leveling with incisions.

Which was found in the second meter. It was decided to do a light pickpass of Locus 7 in order to investigate the elationship between the layer of Locus 7 and the soil underneath. The pickpass was done south to north. A fragment of a ridgepole tile (Special Find #8) and a piece of a rosette (Special Find #9) that still preserves paint were recovered.

A piece of unusual terracotta (Special Find #10) was also found while cleaning from the pickpass.
