T6E (2) Rectangular Cut B

the circular area designated stratum G in the previous year's excavation ( see page 189 ) was cleaned of the earth which had accumulated over the winter.  Further excavation and cleaning revealed:

A trench 1.5 metres wide and 4.0 metres long was laid out extending south from the circular area including stratum G. (designated as Rectangular Cut B.  This trench included within its boundaries another double line of stones like in Rectangular Cut A except that, in this case , both lines of stones were in the from of roughly made walls.  Excavation within this area produced:

Also found were a few bones, one box of pottery, and on and a half boxes of tiles. .
