|Title||Creamware Rim with Preserved Paint|
|Photo Type||Cataloged Artifact|
|Description||The fragment preserves portions of the rim and slight body portions of a vessel. The rim is bulbous and rounded. The exterior, curved edge of the rim preserves two incised lines that divide the rim into three tori. Vestiges of a redddish paint are visible on the preserved body portion as well as the top face of the rim. Reddish paint is quite well preserved at the angle where the body meets the rim.|

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
