|Description||Fragment preserves finished, slightly curving edge at top, with ridge extending very slightly from it over back, plain, smooth surface; front surface has carved decoration: horizontal set of ridges, short diagonal strokes, and two ridges set below rim and extending to top of figural decoration, on right side of fragment, head, neck and foreleg of a stag, with two upward curved lines for antlers; in front of (to left) animal is small, up- and left-turned leaf with thin stem and pointed top, and on left, broken edge, is diagonal line terminating in at least one volute, and two tear-shaped raised areas above it; below this, and connecting with it, is a pattern of raised strokes and concentric diamonds.|
