|Description||A small, tapering bone with faint cut marks visible throughout the surface is preserved. The narrow end of the bone preserves an unusual worn edge. The edge is circular in shape, with the center concavely hallowed out. The wear extends approximately 270 degrees around the circle; the remaining area projects into a face that appears to have been broken. No traces cutting marks are present near the smooth edge, but rather it appears that a rope or other material has worn the edge to its smooth finish. A slight lip is visible near the hallowed center where the edge was not worn uniformly.|

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
