|Description||Locus 4 is a dark brown humus layer with organic material including leaves, grass, and roots. Several small rocks five to ten centimeters in size are included in the soil matrix. Small concentrations of pottery were found, and no bone was found. One rocchetto fragment was recovered. What artifacts were found were fairly worn. The soil pack was loose and the locus was relatively shallow--between five and eight centimeters deep.|

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
