Condition Restored from 11 fragments; 17 additional associated fragments do not join. Surfaces are worn, pitted, and encrusted; numerous inclusions are visible throughout the fabric. Through the cavetto and on the back surface are numerous fresh breaks, shears, and scars due to damage from modern tools used in excavation
Description Raking sima fragment preserves what appears to be a finished right edge and the full height of the cavetto through the two right-hand strigils with a finished upper beveled edge. Portions of four additional strigils are also preserved. Below the cavetto is a portion of the frieze with the rump, tail, and portion of the thin body of a hound running left.
