Condition Broken on right end and in left upper corner, Preserving left edge of plaque, portion of cornice and of base. Pieces very chipped. Good sharp relief.
Description Preserves entire lebes; third horse, missing muzzle and small portion of back, and third rider missing head, arms and thigh; second horse, missing head, forelegs and upper part of hind leg, and second rider, missing foot. Guilloche fragmented at base. Nine studs. Joined from eight pieces. Traces of red paint.
Fabric Description Terracotta. Coarse grain with fine bits of white stone and mica. Fired orange to red-brown. Traces of black on central pieces.
