Condition Restored from two pieces. Chipped area in middle of join on exterior side. Exterior rough and pitted, interior smoother finish.
Description Irregularly shaped fragment of high-footed, shallow plate. Exterior surface begins to flare toward the end, indicates the beginning of a conical foot. Interior surface decorated with an impressed ring. Exterior preserves an incised letter (san), and fragment of a second letter adjoining it (vertical stroke /).
