Condition All surfaces are heavily worn and encrusted. It is mottled in color due to corrosion and oxidation. The fragment is comprised of 5 piece that were rejoined during conservation. There are two small pieces missing from the shaft. There is also a small container with associated fragments that were not able to be rejoined.
Fabric Description Iron
Description A hollow, tubular iron fragment that tapers in diameter from one end to the other. The widest end is open, while the narrower end is closed, possibly from corrosion. The iron is thinnest at the widest end and thickens at the smaller end.
