Condition The fragment preserves a section of antler apparently cut across the grain on both ends. One side appears worked, another unworked and a third broken. One end is roughly four-sided, smoother and shows evidence of burning.
Description A section of antler, cut across the grain and smoothed on both ends. The cuts are not parallel, one section is roughly four sided, the other irregular. Two of the sides show evidence of working, perhaps initial stages of bevelling. The third side appears broken and the fourth unaltered. The piece is blackened by buring over most of the area.
