Description Locus 4 is a sounding in the eastern part of Locus 2. It appears to be a granular texture with a gray-brown color, with flecks of light gray and yellow patches toward the north. All the finds are bone except for one piece of ridged pottery. The rock in the northern part of the sounding continues through approximately a quarter of the locus. A large piece of potential bedrock is present in the northern part of this locus. Locus 4 is equivalent to Locus 8 and locus 11.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
