Condition Corroded and encrusted; broken at both ends.
Description Bronze rod with a spiraling groove on its surface. The groove is the result of strip-twisting (the edges of the strip were pressed together forming the groove). The pitch of the groove is shallow indicating that the strip may have been hammered during the strip-twisting process.
