Condition Fragment preserves worn, pitted, and irregular surfaces mottled in color due to corrosion and oxidation.
Description A fragment of worked iron preserves a rectangular head that tapers inward to a thinner, flatter rectangular shaft. The sides of the head display portions of worn nodules, as do the wider sides of the shaft. The shaft begins to flare outward slightly toward the lateral break surface.
