Description An unusual fragment of terracotta preserving two gently curved faces. On one face there is a excess flap of clay forming a ridge along one edge which perhaps preserves finger marks. The opposite face has a rounded ridge roughly in the center of the fragment. At one end the ridge appears to flare out, and at the opposite end the preserved portion appears bulbous. On either side of the ridge the surface curves slightly downward. Large inclusions, small stones and mica, are visible throughout the fabric of the preserved fragment.
