|Description||Locus 5 is a brownish clay layer which as far as soil is concerned is exactly the same as locus 3. However, the inclusions in locus 5 are far more numerous and do not include medieval pottery. Locus 5 was declared in order to strengthen any datable material we find as we approach the level of locus 4. (for the purpose of data entry locus 5 has been designated locus 10 in the computer)|
