Description | The 2m x 4m area to the immediate south of T-61 and bordering trench T-62 was added as an extension. The topsoil was similar in content to Locus 1. This area was declared Locus 7. Once topsoil was removed, the soil is a medium brown/olive color, with a clay like texture and some roots and small stones scattered throughout. There is a large stump in the SE corner of the Locus. Approximately 150 pottery fragments and 2 full bowl of tile were recovered. The pottery had a rough texture and was somewhat pitted. A bronze fragment and 4 pieces of bone were also recovered. |
