Description Locus 2 lies directly under Locus 1 and extends throughout the entire trench. The soil in this locus was a medium-brown, and a fine clay in texture. There were many small roots and small stones (1 to 5cm in size) in this locus. Slag and vitrified terracotta were recovered also. A polished stone (20130012) was catalogued from this locus. Nearly two bowls of tile (mainly worn) and 20 sherds of pottery were recovered also. Locus 2 lies directly over Locus 3.
