Description Locus 11 is directly to the west of locus 4 in the original trench and below locus 2. Its western and southern lines traces rock features and bedrock found in locus 3. It has clay-like crumbly soil which becomes increasingly lighter and mottled with yellow and white rocks, especially towards the north. A neonatal humerus bone (20140066) was found here along with animal bones. Locus 11 is equivalent to Locus 4 and 8.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
